Os Simpsons encontram-se atualmente na sua 19ª temporada. Um verdadeiro fenômeno cultural no mundo todo há mais de vinte anos, com vários prêmios, recordes e clássicos inesquecíveis. Um desses clássicos que vamos relembrar agora.
Os Simpsons apareceram pela 1ª vez como uma vinheta de trinta segundos no The Tracey Ullman Show. Logo a popularidade aumentou e a série estreou, em 17 de dezembro de 1989, com um especial de Natal e, depois, como série regular em 14 de janeiro de 1990.
O resto é história, a família disfuncional explodiu e está aí até hoje. Mas, ao contrário de hoje, onde os episódios são, em sua maioria, centrados em Homer, no início era Bart a grande estrela.
